Family Feels
This living room was designed to accommodate a family of four. They wanted an open space to be able to play with their young daughters, settle down and enjoy a movie as a family, and be able to host parties with friends and family.
These black leather couches created a neutral base to start off the room. We then decided to add a refinished vinatage cream end table and tv stand set. We went with some fun pops of red and turquoise to brighten up the room, using pillows and the creative wood end table that was hand-made and painted to match this specific family room.
For the focal point of this room, we did a collage of family pictures on some dark stained floating shelves. We also incorporated the vintage cream mirror that was part of the end table and tv stand set to tie the room together perfectly.

The open concept of the living room was carried to the kitchen, we also continued our coloring scheme, as well as doing another collage on the kitchen wall as our focal point in this space. Using some tin decor to match the tall metal bar stools and some wood decor, we were able to create a rustic farmhouse style. The light blue printed curtains allow for just the perfect amount of light to enter the space while adding a cool-based color to the warmth of the kitchen.
We hand-made the farmhouse style kitchen table and matching bench. Painting it white and staining the tops with a dark grey stain. We then painted the chairs a "barn red" to give it a happy feel and help the flow from the kitchen to the living room.
