Outstanding Office
This office space was one of the most unique spaces I have ever got to work with.
This is the office space of a woman who is a palm-reader. She wanted a space where her clients could come and feel comfortable. A space where people felt safe and willing to open up aspects of their lives they wouldn't share with just anyone.
As I'm sure that you will notice, throughout this entire space, buddhas have been placed all throughout. This particular client loves the feel and the energy that buddha symbolizes. Therefore, it was a piece that I felt needed to be strongly incorporated within the space.

There is nothing that I love more than a fun colored wing-back chair; an elegant classic!
The velvet texture of these chairs automatically makes you feel right at home! The symmetrical balance these pieces create is very pleasing to the eye, and creates a great focal point that you notice right when you walk through the door of this office.
The pillows placed upon each chair add a great form of informal comfort, and the light tan matches the tan walls very well.
The white side table is a great contrast against the dark plum chairs, and completely to scale with how large these chairs are.

The first wall that you notice when walking into this space was actually very tall and fairly wide. We wanted something big enough to keep you grounded, but small enough to keep the scale in balance.
I decided that white was a great color to place on the tan wall for two reasons; One, being that it was different enough from the wall color, so the wall decor popped off the wall and was noticeable. But two, it did not take away from the deep plum colored chairs placed below.

Keeping the wall decor fun and light really helped you feel grounded in the space. By leaving the dark elements placed on the bottom of the wall your eyes are drawn down-ward emphasizing the mass of these chairs.
We needed lots of seating within this fairly small office space. So I decided to go with a tufted settee. This wall also sat fairly tall in comparison to the room. Therefore, the deep plum color really grounds this peace of furniture.
The white and gold pillows are a great contrast agains the small couch, and help with the repetition of the color white, and match the fluffy white rug placed below it.

Accessories are the funniest way to decorate according to a clients personal style. For example, the hand figurine is very fitting for a woman who reads palms for a profession, don't you think?
Next to the settee, I placed a simple small side table and a small lamp, to add some light to the corner. Having the ability to see through legs of this small table help to keep that narrow space more open, and not feeling so clustered.
