Refreshing Remodel
We recently just started this fun remodel. Turning this family home into a chic and modern place of comfort, all at a reasonable cost!
Our first step in the remodel was to add some fresh coats of paint!
We decided to go with a more modern color, "Agreeable Grey" and accenting it with white trim.
The white trim helped open up the doorways, and made the room feel bigger. By brightening up this space, it made it feel more spacious and open.

Our second step for the remodel was to add some hardwood floors. We tore out the old carpet, and replaced it with some fresh new hardwood. We chose a light gray hardwood to help with the flow of the light grey walls.
This navy blue antique dresser is serving as a darling TV stand. It really adds character to the living room, and brings in that extra pop of one of our darker based colors.
The antique windows add the perfect rustic texture to the chic room.
By placing them on both sides of the TV it created a very symmetrical focal point that brightened up the space.

For this space we choice light gray couches to add a classy, yet cozy feel for this family. Pillows were added for pops of color and texture to the space. You can never have too many pillows!
Our next step was to paint all of our dining room pieces. We wanted it simple, yet chic so we went with white and grey as our neutrals and added some fun pops of coral and turquoise. This geometric rug added some fun dimension to the area.
We then painted these tables for the living room white to balance the chic flow of the home.
These unique tables were all purchased from our local DI for reasonable prices.

We painted this table and chair combo to brighten up the front porch!
We painted the table white to match the siding of the house, but decided to spruce it up a bit by painting the handle coral! We then painted the chairs a bright turquoise and distressed them to add some character to the face of the house!
